WOODVILLE MUSEUM
Prior to 1912 Rogue River was called Woodville and prior to 1872 it was called Tailholt. The museum preserves the history of Rogue River, Wimer and the Evans Valley from Savage Creek to Foots Creek. We have displays of historical interest that change regularly. We have records of early settlers and that may help genealogists. We also honor the present with community information. We are located at 199 1st Street in Rogue River. We are open from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Mail inquiries to P.O. Box 1288, Rogue River OR 97537-1288 or phone us at 541-582-3088.
